Hello again ForzeBreakers! This week I’m going to try something a bit new so instead of the usual lengthy update that I usually do, this time I’ll do a quick teaser update akin to giving a quick peek at the juicy burger that the team is grilling.
First things first, if somebody from VolksWagen is reading this please know that we love your cars. Getting back to our topic at hand, the team is continuing preparations to finally get the game up and running for Steam, we apologize for the wait but the team has been busy in other projects that have taken our priorities as well as getting ready for our upcoming graduation, woo hoo! We had a chance of pace after the last term and we’re still planning what and how we can continue to work on the game, but for now you can rest assured that we want the game to be out there for people to play.
One of the new things we started to work on outside bug fixing and dealing with other game breaking issues, would be new skins to some of the most popular vehicles that have been used. We’re brainstorming ideas of what would be cool and refreshing for this brand new summer season. I got to say that it has been one of my favorite things to do and I can’t wait to do more.
Starting with a brand new shiny coat for the DustBuster by our external 3D artist Martha, this speedster will be cruising in style:
Oh look shinny! Trust me, just like your dad’s car you don’t want to get a scratch on this one. It looks good on every color!
Next up would be my own update to the StreamBreaker. It might be a little classic but it is a tank and this fun experiment of mine left me with a couple of ideas that I could try later for this war machine.
Can you smell the brand new coat of paint by the sea? Not that it will ever be needed but it has a spare tire to abide by safe driving regulations. Don’t worry Mr. Wayne it does come in black ;)
After experimenting a bit we feel a bit excited to make more skins. Who knows, we might make them unlockable after some achievements and we might even make some holiday inspired skins as well. That will be all in the future as we see how the game does, but for now smooth gameplay takes precedence.
This will be all for now but there will be more as we get closer to Steam release. Don’t forget to tune in to some more announcements in the future. Thank you again and until then!
